How do I install ScreamCode.Reporting?

Install via NuGet: dotnet add package ScreamCode.Reporting.Core. Then add AddScreamReporting() to your Program.cs and implement IReportDataProvider to connect your data.

Is there a free version of ScreamCode.Reporting?

Yes. The Community tier is free forever and includes up to 10 reports, 5 templates, and PDF/Excel/CSV export. Every new install also gets a 30-day Professional trial with no credit card required.

Does ScreamCode.Reporting work on Windows Server 2016?

Yes, with a manual workaround. Windows Server 2016 requires an older Chromium build (chromium-978106) for PDF generation. See the PDF and Chromium documentation for step-by-step instructions.

What is the difference between Professional and Enterprise?

Professional ($149 one-time) includes up to 30 reports, charts, images, scheduler with 5 schedules, 30-day audit trail and backup/restore. Enterprise ($299 one-time) adds unlimited reports, unlimited schedules, 365-day audit trail and digital signature on PDFs.

Does ScreamCode.Reporting require a separate server or database?

No. ScreamCode.Reporting is fully embedded in your ASP.NET Core application. It uses a local SQLite database and requires no external services, separate servers or cloud infrastructure.
