1. What we collect
ScreamCode collects only what is necessary to provide our products and services. This includes:
- Contact information — name and email address when you submit a contact form or purchase a license.
- Purchase data — transaction details processed by our payment provider (Polar.sh). We do not store payment card details.
- License information — license key records to validate and manage your software license.
- Usage data — anonymous analytics about website traffic (pages visited, referrer, browser type). No personal identifiers are included.
ScreamCode.Reporting, when installed in your application, does not send any data back to ScreamCode servers. All report data stays within your own infrastructure.
2. How we use your data
We use the data we collect to:
- Deliver license keys and manage your software subscription
- Respond to support and sales enquiries
- Send important product updates (license expiry, critical security notices)
- Understand how our website is used and improve it
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
3. Third-party services
We use a limited number of third-party services to run our business:
- Polar.sh — payment processing and license delivery. Subject to Polar's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare — DNS, CDN, and DDoS protection. May process request metadata (IP, headers) per Cloudflare's policy.
- Google Fonts — typeface delivery. Fonts are loaded from Google's CDN.
4. Cookies
This website uses minimal cookies:
- Essential cookies — required for the site to function correctly (e.g., session state).
- Analytics cookies — anonymous, aggregated data about page visits. No cross-site tracking.
We do not use advertising or marketing cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser settings; essential functionality will remain available.
5. Data retention
Contact enquiry data is retained for up to 2 years, or until you request deletion. License records are retained for the lifetime of the license for legal and support purposes. Anonymous analytics data is aggregated and not personally identifiable.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. All data in transit is encrypted via TLS. We do not store payment card data — all payment processing is handled by Polar.sh.
